MyRoster — Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the MyRoster iOS application ("the app"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't install or use the app.

The app is published by an independent developer, Damiano Miazzi ("we", "our"). Contact: damianomiazzi@gmail.com.

1. The app, in plain language

MyRoster is a productivity tool that helps flight-crew members read, organise, and act on their work rosters. It is not an official app of any airline. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any airline. Anything the app shows you about your duties comes from documents you import yourself.

2. Eligibility

You may use MyRoster only if you can form a binding contract under the law of your country (typically 18+, or the local equivalent age of majority). The app is not directed at children under 13.

3. Your account

To use the app you sign in with an email address + password (or via Sign in with Apple / Google). You're responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for everything that happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → Account → Delete account). Deletion is permanent.

4. Free tier and trial

New accounts start on the free tier. New subscribers are offered a 3-day free trial of all Pro features when they subscribe from the subscription screen. The trial is an App Store introductory offer: it is started through Apple's purchase sheet with your Apple Account, and Apple decides who is eligible (once per Apple Account).

The trial turns into the paid monthly subscription automatically when the three days are up, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends in your Apple Account settings. If you cancel in time you are not charged and return to the free tier when the trial ends.

On the free tier you can:

• See today's and tomorrow's duty (also via the Home Screen widget).
• See the calendar for the current month.
• Manage your account and read your settings.

To keep access to multi-month history, statistics, calendar sync, online import, backup & restore, and cross-device sync you'll need a MyRoster Pro subscription.

5. MyRoster Pro — subscription terms

This is the disclosure Apple requires for any auto-renewable subscription in the App Store. Please read carefully.

• Title of subscription: MyRoster Pro
• Length of subscription: 1 month
• Price: €2.99 per month (or the local-currency equivalent shown in the App Store at the time of purchase)
• Free trial: new subscribers get the first 3 days free (an App Store introductory offer, once per Apple Account). Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends, the trial converts into the paid monthly subscription at the price above.
• Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Payment: Charged to your Apple ID payment method, processed by Apple. We never see or store your payment details.
• Managing your subscription: Manage or cancel via iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → MyRoster Pro, or via the "Manage subscription" link inside Settings → Subscription in the app.
• Refunds: Handled by Apple under their App Store terms. Contact Apple Support to request a refund — we don't have the ability to issue refunds ourselves.

6. What we do, what we don't do

We promise to use commercially reasonable effort to:

• Keep the parser working against new roster formats as airlines change them.
• Sync your data across your devices via Firebase.
• Protect your account with the security controls described in the Privacy Policy.

We don't promise:

• That every roster line will be parsed perfectly. Some airline formats are ambiguous, hand-edited, or change without notice.
• That the Online Import (Beta) feature will work for every airline portal at all times. Airlines can change their login pages, add CAPTCHAs, or block automated requests — when that happens the feature may break temporarily.
• That MyRoster will be available without interruption. Apple, Google, your network operator, and your airline are all in the picture.

If a duty data error has consequences for your work, always double-check against the source document or the airline's own system. Don't rely on MyRoster as the authoritative source.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app to violate any law or your airline's policies.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code except where permitted by mandatory local law.
• Resell access to the app or your account.
• Submit deliberately corrupted data designed to crash the parser or poison the diagnostic dataset.

8. Intellectual property

The MyRoster brand, code, and design are owned by Damiano Miazzi. Roster PDFs you import are yours; we don't claim any rights to them. Airline trademarks visible in those PDFs remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Disclaimers and limit of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the app is capped at the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 50, whichever is lower.
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, punitive, or lost-profits damages.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits — in those, only the liability cap that local law allows applies.

10. Changes to the app and these terms

We may release new versions of the app that change, add, or remove features (including features currently behind the Pro paywall). We may also update these Terms — when we do, the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will be highlighted inside the app and you will be asked to re-accept.

11. Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the app abusively (excessive automation, scraping, attempts to bypass the paywall, etc.).

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes that we can't settle through direct contact go to the competent court of Verona, Italy, unless mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you a different right.
